Elizabeth Richardson
[Home]
Elizabeth Richardson was born in Washington, DC, and grew up in the area. She
studied classical piano privately during high school, performing in many local
recitals and competitions. She began playing professionally during her college
years at Wake Forest University, where she played dinner music at a local
restaurant.
After a nearly 20-year government career in procurement including 10 years as
contracting officer in Germany, she left the government to care for her three
children. She then resumed her career as a professional pianist, and now plays
regularly at Nordstrom department stores in Montgomery Mall, Tyson’s Corner, and
Pentagon City, as well as for private parties. She sings in the Rockville Chorus
as well as in her church choir, and has only recently joined the Dixie Rascals.
